Britney Spears got $15 million dollars to be a judge on X-Factor. Hell! If Simon Cowell wants to waste money, he could have lent me some change as well.

I get it, Britney is a megastar, and having her on the show will boost ratings. But after seeing her bloody fingernails snapped by the paparazzi, I’m convinced she’s a meltdown waiting to happen.

I’m all about trash TV like the rest of America, I love it when women fight on TV, I can spend hours on WSHH watching ghetto brawls, and Snapped is one of the most popular shows out there.

With that said, I don’t want to see Britney lose her marbles on X-Factor.

We’ve seen her hit rock bottom before and with all the emotion of the X-Factor season, it’s only a matter of time before her hair is on the floor of some local barbershop as she smiles like she just ate a bag of jelly beans.

The sad part about it all is that they seem to be betting on her going crazy. In a roadside interview with Simon Cowell, he was asked if he was nervous to have Britney be a judge. He responded in the negative, but ended the interview with these cryptic words: “We will see.”

I can already see a frazzled Britney gnawing her fingers to the bone when she is forced to make the deciding vote on a little girl like Rachel Crow, or I can see Ms. Spears burping on live TV because she guzzled too much Pepsi.

My biggest fear is that Britney will make a circus out of a show I’ve grown to like. Sure, I had a bit of disdain for Nicole Scherzinger when she couldn’t step up to the plate and make the tough choices on who to send home, but that’s part of what makes the show great.

Seeing a legally loony person judge talent when they are not fit to govern over their own life … Well let’s just say, that’s that sh*t I don’t like.
