The music industry is notorious for breaking new, young talent.

But while many rap artists like Ice Cube and Queen Latifah have put down the mic for alternative – and lucrative – business deals (acting, producing), there are still plenty of rap stars out there pushing on past the age ‘barriers’ with a brand new product.
Emcees like Jay, Common and Diddy – all 40 years old or over – have successfully broken the ‘glass ceiling’ of music with Billboard hits; proving that age really ain’t nothing but a number!
