Greetings GG World!

Last Friday, I received an invite to become a Guest Celebrity Blogger for GlobalGrind.com to give business and financial tips based on my international best selling books: ‘Reallionaire,’ ‘Get Real Get Rich’ and ‘The Truth Shall Make You,’ that have been translated into Russian, Korean, Indonesian and Vietnamese languages and available throughout Africa, Australia and Europe and in Central and South American countries.

Last Easter Sunday, I sat between my two heroines…my mother and 80-year old grandmother waiting 6 p.m. ET for TV ONE to premiere the 18th Annual Trumpet Awards Honoring African American Achievement.

According to the Trumpet Awards Foundation and JET magazine “the youngest Trumpet Award honoree in history” yours truly was honored along with Frankie Beverly & Maze, Steve Harvey and many more…Past Honorees included Tiger Woods, Beyoncé Knowles, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Michael V. Roberts, Venus and Serena Williams, Rev Al Sharpton, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Raven-Symoné, Chris Tucker, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Usher, Stevie Wonder, Usher and Denzel Washington.

My presenter, the beautiful lady in red Tasha Smith (Tyler Perry’s “Why Did IGet Married?” & Why Did I Get Married Too”) announced “The force of nature Young Entrepreneur Award” recipient was Dr. Farrah Gray.

The indescribable and priceless smile of pride on my grandmother’s face is what all grandchildren want to achieve for their shero!

The Trumpet Awards were created in 1993 to honor African-American achievement in diverse fields such as law, religion, politics, public service, sports and entertainment. The annual Trumpet Awards acknowledge the accomplishments of men and women who have significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of life for all… the Trumpet Awards honors people who are viewed not only for what they have individually achieved but also for the achievement they inspire in others.
