When you think of Rap or Hip-Hop artists, hard rappers like Young Jeezy, DMX, Tupac, Jay-Z and many others come to mind, including 50-Cent.

Often rapping based off their passed experiences, topics like gun violence, drugs, alcohol, sex and women are usually the core of their hit songs. This in turn creates a tough image for the rapper.

But not all are as tough deep down on the inside as they appear on television. Most have sensitive, caring sides, making sure everything is taken care of back at home.

VIDEO: THANK THE HEAVENS! 50 Cent & Oprah Reconcile

50-Cent, who has been shot several times, recently sat down with Oprah on Oprah’s Next Chapter, speaking on things that were very close to his heart. The Gunz Come Out rapper told the talk show queen he likes to meditate regularly, he doesn’t curse in his grandmother’s house and he even paints her toenails, confessing:

“I could paint a toenail like we in a nail shop!”

Even Oprah was shocked by the hip-hop mogul’s response!

Some may not go to that extreme, but it’s another way for the rapper to spend quality time with the ones he loves.

Young Jeezy is another prime example. Touring around the country, performing at sold out shows gives him all access to any women he wants. As long as his woman respectfully let’s him, do him he can be faithful and committed, rapping in Leave You Alone:

“Wake up in the morning and I’m still here wake up in the morning and I ain’t gone.”

But, they’re not the only two letting the world know who they really are. Jay-Z is rarely photographed out partying or club hopping in the wee hours of the morning. Instead, he is often seen by his wife side, caring to their new born baby Blue Ivy. Most recently, the two were picture walking into their hotel where Jay held his baby daughter tightly as they walked in.

What about The Game! Based on his rapping persona, one would think he’s ripping the streets chasing after women. Instead, he’s posting Instagram photos of him on daddy-duty with his son. He captioned the photo:

“Having a heart 2 heart with my soon to be kindergartener on his graduation day #ProudFatherTweet”

This goes to show that some of hip-hop’s rappers who are considered gangsters and thugs also have a softer side!
