Adidas has really figured out how to make their way back onto the “cool kids” radar.  Previous collections have included collaborations with Katy Perry, David Beckham, James Bond (of Undefeated) and of course Jeremy Scott.  The most recent collaboration is with one of the coolest boutiques around, Opening Ceremony.

In anticipation of the 2012 London Olympics and the opening of the first Opening Ceremony London store, OC presents the FW12 capsule collections with adidas Originals. Combining elements of swim and cycling with a 90s street attitude as an ode to Olympic sports.

Some of the stand out pieces from the collection were designed to look like bandanas, while others utilize a kaleidoscopic mini-floral print or a hypnotic splatter-paint motif.

According to Opening Ceremony:

The mostly unisex collection uses a range of dynamic fabrics including dry-swim spandex, neoprene, nylon twills, and reflective finishes. For girls, sleek body-con dresses, halter tops, and peplum dresses leap ahead of the pack, while for the boys, crisp chambray shirting, French terry polos and oversize neoprene parkas round out a fresh and youthful collection. Footwear follows the collection’s 90s motif, featuring unisex jelly sandals and printed neoprene water-socks. Other highlights include our reinterpretation of the classic Samba sneaker, as well as a bold new BMX-style high-top with a discreet printed sole
