MUSIC: Maybach Music Group Featuring Kendrick Lamar “Power Circle”
In an interview with Power 106 this weekend, the Compton native announced that his first major label album, Good Kid In A Mad City, is set for release on October 2. The album will be released on Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment.
The rapper’s highly anticipated album follows his very successful independent mixtape, Section.80.

The critically acclaimed fanfare Section.80 received also shed some well-deserved light on the other talented spitters who are members of Lamar’s Black Hippy family, including Schoolboy Q and Ab Soul.
