Chanel is definitely a girl’s best friend!

We can already spot a ton of looks from Chanel’s Fall 2012 Couture collection that will show up on the red carpet this fall, so we’re going to give you a first look at some of the trends we predict will hit the awards shows at the end of the year. Take a look!

Pink, Black and Grey:

In past Chanel shows, we saw Karl Lagerfeld incorporate the iconic black and white colors, always adding a pop of color. In this couture collection, we see pretty soft pinks being used instead. He incorporates the pink in red carpet dresses to give the gowns a very clean, soft feel.

Chiffon, Tulle and Glitter, OH MY!:

Lagerfeld used a lot of these three elements in this collection. Beautiful evening dresses were made of chiffon and tulle, perfectly inspiring the vintage look. Bling and glitter on both the dress and stockings are something to look out for this fall.

A-lines:

A lot of the gowns had a line design that was tight in the bust and waist and then built into a beautiful A-line starting at the thighs. No curves can be seen in this dress because of the A-line effect. We have seen this before with other designers, but not included in a whole collection!
