If you’ve never heard of Marcelo Burlon, you may not be the only one. But this jack-of-all trades is certainly lighting up Italian fashion circles. His work ranges from styling to photography, clubbing to art direction. Chances are, if there’s a high-energy fashion show happening, look up and you may see Marcelo in the DJ booth!

Marcelo’s latest venture suits his lifestyle very well: a comfortable collection of graphic t-shirts!

In collaboration with graphic designer Giorgio Di Salvo, Marcelo managed to put together a collection that is a nod to multicultural elements, including Mapuches crosses from his motherland Patagonia, Argentinean bird feathers, esoteric symbols, and nods to rave and club culture to offer a diverse and arresting display of wearable art.

Fans of Givenchy will also notice that Marcelo’s bold graphics are very reminiscent of the luxury brand’s. But before you go call Marcelo a “biter,” his friends Macs Lotti (L’Uomo Vogue) and Givenchy head designer Riccardo Tisci serve as inspiration for the designs.

The collection won’t be available until November of this year, but we look forward to seeing the shirts up close and possibly getting a shirt or two from the collection. The feather shirts are especially appealing, but you can check out the entire collection modeled by Marcelo himself in the gallery above.
