Ever since Kanye and Jay-Z commissioned Givenchy’s designer Riccardo Tisci for the artwork on Watch The Throne, it feels like Givenchy is everywhere.

For the fashion-minded sect, Givenchy has been a staple in their wardrobe and on the runway for years, but you have to admit, since the Rottweiler collection dropped last fall, it’s gained the type of attention most brands only dream about.

We got a preview of their fall collection in yesterday’s WWD. Tisci seems to be going with the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” business motto and we love it.

The preview only features three looks from the Resort collection, but from what we can tell, it will incorporate grunge wih a resort theme – for something that can only be described as “Givenchy chic.”

Some of you may not be thrilled with the idea of men in skirts or plaid shirts under the bold graphic tee, but for the Givenchy consumer, this is what makes the brand stand out from everything else on the market. No rottweilers this season, but don’t be surprised if you see a shark motif pop up here and there.
