After all these years, Tamia and Grant Hill‘s love is still going strong. The close-knit couple were holding hands as they walked on stage to receive their honoree award at the 2012 McDonald’s 365 Black Awards held in New Orleans.

They received the honor, not only for their strong commitment to love, but for their amazing charitable work. The husband and wife duo created the Grant and Tamia Hill Foundation, which lays focus on education by their support of schools, scholarships, and other non-profit organizations and churches.

With big hearts like these, we see why their love has lasted so long!

Since its creation in 2003, the McDonald’s 365 Black Awards are given annually to honor and recognize outstanding individuals who make significant contributions that strengthen the African-American community.

Another one of the amazing young honorees this year was a young high school grad named Tony Hansberry II, who invented a surgical technique – while in high school – that reduces the risk of infection after a hysterectomy. Now that’s swag.

The award ceremony also featured performances from Tamia and Melanie Fiona, who tore down the Mahalia Jackson theater. You can find out more information by visiting 365Black.com
