UPDATE: 10AM EST

Trayvon Martin’s mother, Sybrina Fulton spoke with CBS’ This Morning to discuss her reaction after watching George Zimmerman’s interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity last night where he said this has all been “God’s plan.” She said,

“I don’t think God would have it, in his plan, to murder an innocent child,” Fulton said, adding she doesn’t believe a word Zimmerman said.

“I have a hard time accepting it because he also said that he doesn’t regret anything that he did that night,” she said.”

George Zimmerman broke his silence tonight on Fox News’ show hosted by Sean Hannity, and what a storm he has created. As GlobalGrind reported earlier, George spoke to Sean about what happened that night in Sanford, FL and everything that transpired after that. The one line from the interview that has gotten everyone talking is when Hannity asked him if he had any regrets.

Hannity: “Do you regret getting out of the car that night?”

Zimmerman: “No sir…I feel it was all God’s plan.”

A shocking response that he later tried to clean up, but it seemed the damage had already been done.

Trayvon’s family has released a statement in response to George Zimmerman’s interview:

Zimmerman said that he did not regret getting out of his vehicle; he did not regret following Trayvon; in fact he did not regret anything he did that night. In conclusion, he wouldn’t do anything different. He concluded it was God’s plan.

“We must worship a different God because there is no way that MY GOD would have wanted George Zimmerman to KILL my teenage son,” Tracy Martin, father of Trayvon Martin said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press shortly after Zimmerman’s interview with Fox News.
