Normally when the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) works with another company, it has something to do with fashion. But this time around, they worked with a sports team!
The New York Mets got the CFDA treatment for a few casual items that are perfect for the current baseball season.

Although fashion and sports collaborations rarely happen, this one made the most sense because it’s a collection of gear in celebration of their respective 50th anniversaries.
CFDA members Billy Reid, Yigal Azrouël, Shipley & Halmos, and Loomstate made a range of Mets-themed clothing, which will be sold at Citi Field and on Edition01.com to raise money for both organizations, starting today.

In order to show off the collection, the CFDA rounded up a couple of prominent New Yorkers like Mets co-owners Fred and Jeff Wilpon, Warby Parker co-founders Dave Gilboa and Neil Blumenthal, and the CFDA’s Steven Kolb, to name a few.
