Last night we all watched the glorious opening ceremonies of 2012 Olympics in London, and it was full of excitement!

The games were finally kicked off as the torch was lit, but there were a few surprises that came to light before we see our best athletes compete!

Not only did the ceremony include all kinds of time-traveling dancing, but it was kicked off with a soundtrack done by the main man of The Beatles, Paul McCartney.

There was even an incorporation of Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and the Sex Pistol’s ‘God Save The Queen’ were featured.

To make things more interesting, there was even a James Bond film to keep the crowd entertained, and it included the Queen jumping out of a helicopter and coming down in a parachute!

There’s nothing better than knowing that Queen Elizabeth has a great sense of humor!

Other celebrities such as Kate Middleton, Prince William, and David Beckham made an appearance and watched the festivities kick off.

Finally, once the torch was finally lit, the 10,500 athletes ready to compete in the games, marched out and represented hard for their countries.

Our U.S. team looked fit and happy once it was there turn, showing off stars like LeBron James!

We can’t wait to watch the sports of the Olympics go down! We know that the athletes will make our country proud!
