Back in 2004, hip-hop music experienced its own ‘War Of The Worlds’ saga.

During Jay-Z’s and R.Kelly’s Best of Both Worlds tour, Kelly, alarmed by concert goers allegedly ‘waving guns in his direction,’ abandoned a Madison Square Garden stage in fear for his safety – leaving a confused Jay-Z to close out the concert on his own.

The strange episode landed Jay and his team at the end of a $75 million suit, filed by Kelly himself.

Since then, the two gentlemen have ceased creating music together.

However, despite all the drama, the R&B king recently admitted to MTV News that he’s still a huge fan of the Jigga Man and his music.

“[I’m] a huge fan,” Kelly said. “I don’t care what it is, who it’s with. As long as it’s positive and as long as it works for both parties, I’m with it.”
