All hip-hop hell broke loose last night, when rumors began circulating that Jay Electronica and stic.man of dead prez were ghostwriters on Nas’ Untitled album.

The rumors began when a writer at Rappers I Know, as well as hip-hop lover and writer, dream hampton, confirmed the story, stating Untitled was “largely written by Jay Electronica and stic.man of dead prez.”
stic.man has released an official statement, stating:
“As far as the rumors about myself and jay electronika ghost writing for Nas, let me say this. Nas is one of the if not the most prolific original lyricist to EVER do it. My contributions to his album was a collaboration and an honor and under his direction of what he wanted to convey and say. Haters cant discredit that man’s genuis. Nas is the Don.”

dream hampton tweeted earlier this morning that despite if people deny their involvement, she stands by her statement.
Definitely don’t know what’s going on or why anyone would want to tarnish Nas’ name, but we hope it all gets sorted out soon.
