Is it even a surprise that Money Mitt Romney is receiving ZERO percent of the black vote?

STORY: Where My Dawgs At? Mitt Romney Has Zero Percent Of The Black Vote

Not to us, considering only a month ago he told the NAACP that if elected he would get rid of Obamacare right away.

STORY: TRUUUU! Joe Biden Said Romney Will Put Americans Back In Chains

We give Mitt points for his courage saying that in a room full of black people. But the facts remain; black folks ain’t got no love for Romney, because he hasn’t shown no love for them!

In 2008, Obama won 95 percent of the black vote and the same trend is happening in 2012. A new NBC poll revealed that 94 percent of blacks will vote for Obama and zero will punch their ticket for Romney.

Romney has some ground to make up before November, but in all likelihood, it’s hopeless for him. Blacks will always trust the black guy – not the rich white guy who hides his money in offshore accounts.

And it’s odd that Romney is keeping black people at arms’ reach, considering his pops played a role in the Civil Rights movements of the 1960s.

Here are some more specific reasons why black people ain’t feeling Mitt Romney…

During a speech to the NAACP back in July, Romney said:

“If you want a president who will make things better in the African-American community, you are looking at him.”

Sure, let’s go with the guy who later in his speech said he wants to…

“eliminate every nonessential, expensive program I can find; that includes Obamacare.”

In one speech Romney panders to black people, then flips on them saying he will take away their beloved Obamacare.

After the speech to the NAACP where he was booed, Romney later said in an interview with Fox News’ Neil Cavuto that the booing was not a surprise:

“We expected that, of course…But, you know, I am going to give the same message to the N.A.A.C.P. that I give across the country, which is that Obamacare is killing jobs….I expect to get African-American votes.”

We don’t think so; never assume that people are going to vote for you.

At a fundraiser in Montana, Romney explained that the reason he got booed during his NAACP speech was that black people just want free stuff.

Here’s his quote:

“When I mentioned I am going to get rid of Obamacare they weren’t happy… That’s ok, I want people to know what I stand for and if I don’t stand for what they want, go vote for someone else, that’s just fine. But I hope people understand this, your friends who like Obamacare, you remind them of this, if they want more free stuff from government tell them to go vote for the other. But don’t forget nothing is really free.”

Let’s just say Mitt, you’re not getting the black vote if you hold the position that all they want is free stuff.

In an effort to gain black voters, Romney hired a consultant named Tara Wall to help with outreach efforts to black voters.

She was also appointed by President George W. Bush as Director of the Office of Public Affairs.

It’s no secret that Romney is a devout Mormon and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which until 1978 barred blacks from entering the priesthood.

Another reason why black people may not be feeling Mitt Romney could be the fact that he hasn’t followed in his father’s footsteps.

Romney’s father, George W. Romney, the former governor of Michigan, was known for his strong support of Civil Rights during the 1960s.

What has Romney done or said about the ongoing violence in Chicago, the Trayvon Martin case or black voter suppression?

Romney hasn’t shown that he cares about issues black people care about.
