Well, well, well our favorite rapper’s favorite rapper Lil Wayne turns the BIG 28 today! Okay maybe 28 isn’t so BIG, but the New Orleans rapper has accomplished some BIG things in his short 28 years.
Unfortunately, Wayne is spending his birthday in a jail cell on Riker’s Island, but all of us on the outside are here to celebrate him by popping a bottle and wishing him a Happy Birthday!
Although, the charismatic rapper went away to Riker’s back in March 2010, it hasn’t stopped him from continuously putting out great music.
While in jail Wayne has been featured on collaborations with breakout artists such as Drake and Nicki Minaj, and has released singles from his album I Am Not a Human Being. It was digitally released today, while the hard copy version of the album won’t hit stores until October 12th.
With all the musical buzz surrounding Lil Wayne at this time, it’s kind of hard to believe he’s even in jail, but thankfully he only has 39 days left in his sentence.
