The Daily Grind Video

Hey! Hey! Hey! It’s your girl Courtnee Mason from VH1’s “You’re Cut Off!” I know it has been a minute but I have not forgotten about you!

So you know that I have a passion for fashion… well this past weekend I was able to model some amazing fashions by some amazing designers in Charlotte’s 3rd Annual Fashion Week.

Anthony Simons creator of Charlotte Fashion Week did an amazing job this year with selecting the location which was held at Bank of America Urban Garden in the heart of downtown Charlotte. CNCFW kicked off this past Thursday September 23, 2010 through Saturday September 25, 2010.

CNCFW(that stands for Charlotte NC Fashion Week) had some local well known media personalities host the show.

Of course I would have loved the opportunity to host the show this year (guess I didn’t make the cut… I have been ‘cut off!’ you know lol) maybe NYC Fashion week will show me some love next year (wink, wink, hint, hint) ummm … on second thought I rather walk in NYC Fashion Week that would be amazing!!

Ok let me stop rambling. Charlotte Fashion Week made me realize I have a lot to offer Charlotte…ALOT!

I wish I knew that I was going to be in Charlotte, NC this past weekend I would have went to CNCFW auditions a few months ago so I could model for more designers (Lil Kim to be specific). Although Lil Kim’s collection was nice not everyone can pull off her clothes.

Let’s just say when I have an upcoming photo shoot I might have to holla at a sista lol.

I was cracking up backstage because when Lil Kim and Meagan Good showed up at fashion week you would have thought President Obama was coming through people pushing and moving the models and designers around not to mention all the security did I say ALL the SECURITY… I was like is it that serious #Imjustsaying.

I must say this and I do not say this often (ask my close friends) Meagan is a beautiful lady, short but beautiful. Now I see why all the men be sweating her lol, she is a pretty girl in person as well as on screen.

I wanted to send a special shout out to Bob and Melissa at LA East Boutique (with some of the hottest clothes east of LA) for selecting me to model for them in Thursday night’s show.

Also a shout out to NY designer Ray-Oliver Bacoy and his partners Deborah Feehan on all of the creative styling, design aesthetic of the overall collection of Huckle and Gatsby who showed their line as the finale on Saturday night.

Huckle and Gatsby collaborated with Rachele Greenberg who is from a company called MEI Fashions who did all of the accessories and handbags that were shown with the Huckle and Gatsby collection.

I am wearing the white dress as their finale piece.

If you like any of the designs I am wearing here is how to contact them tell them Courtnee Mason sent you!
