Mitt Romney has once again proven true to his flip-flopping nature.

Yesterday on NBC’s Meet The Press, Romney suggested that if he became president, he would keep certain parts of the Affordable Care Act in tact, such as its mandate that forbids health care insurance companies from denying coverage from people with pre-exisiting conditions.

Later on, his campaign quietly released a statement negating his former claim. According to the Huffington Post, his aide told the National Review:

“[I]n a competitive environment, the marketplace will make available plans that include coverage for what there is demand for. He was not proposing a federal mandate to require insurance plans to offer those particular features.”

Mitt Romney just can’t seem to keep it together! One minute he’s hot, the next minute he’s cold.

Mitt is clearly backpedaling his statements in order to pander to his constituency.
