My Global Grind Family,

Yes, I do have my own column in the New York Post every Sunday in the Meet Market Section. I have always wanted to do a column regarding relationships, troubled kids and parents who need answers. The New York Post approached me and asked if I would be interested in working on a column for them. I thought it would be a great opportunity and I said yes. Now, I know the New
York Post has been pretty hard on me with my situation…but at the end of the day, I understand the media machine and know that they have a job to do.  It is much easier to forgive and let go. The past is the past, and the future is whatever we choose to make of it.

I am going to have fun with this column and advise people who need a little help. I do not have a PhD in Human Behavior, but what I do have is experience. Experience in seeing first hand what is missing in a man’s marriage and experience with being a troubled teen who didn’t understand my emotions thus leading me to become self destructive upon myself.

By shedding light on the missing pieces in a marriage or relationship, I hope to open peoples eyes up to the reality of cheating. Hopefully by explaining what I have learned, more relationships will stay together. If you can take anything away from what I have to say…it’s don’t let life get in the way of your relationship. And listen and respect your child. By showing them respect, you are teaching them to respect themselves.

I hope you all are as excited as I am about this new positive step in my life. I did an interview with Geraldo Rivera and he totally put me on the spot to sing a little holiday cheer, so I sang ‘Let It Snow’ acapella. It was the night of the blizzard, so that was a really special moment for me.  Who know’s where this will lead…just the reward of perhaps helping someone through a difficult time, is enough for me. I am looking forward to this journey, thank you all for taking it with me. Let us all have a happy and healthy 2010!! Happy Holidays!!

Love always,
Ashley xoxo
