Kevin “SAER” Leong may just be fashion’s Last Emperor.
For his Origami clothing line’s Spring/Summer 2013 fashion presentation, Kevin infused his Asian heritage with his American sensibilities for a highly conceptual menswear line that is actually very wearable. The silk pieced jackets, shirts, polo and pants all made for a very cohesive collection.

Inspired by the Last Emperor Movie, you can see how Kevin carefully put together the looks to beautifully transition from the elaborately embellished to the more basic pieces based on the film about China’s last emperor who was abdicated from his throne and eventually wound up being a peasant.

The models began the presentation by simply standing in place and mingling with the crowd. Eventually they came together for a runway show that also included Leong’s pet Pomeranian Change.
