The term “like father, like son” has never been more appropriate.
A couple of weeks ago, people got their panties in a bunch after Snoop Dogg’s 18-year-old son, Cordell, posted various pictures of him smoking weed, including some of him and his legendary pops lighting a J together.
Snoop Lion has been quiet on the controversy, until now. The rapper recently appeared on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter, where he talked about numerous items, including politics and his new music direction.
Naturally, weed and his son came up as a topic. When speaking about the pictures, Snoop kinda just shrugged them off, saying:
“My kids can do whatever the hell they want. For me to say otherwise would be hypocritical. A lot of motherf*ckers don’t have a relationship with their kids, and that’s when they get on drugs and have suicidal thoughts and drive drunk. Me and my son is mellow. I’m his father, so I wanna show him the proper way because he looks up to me.”
If only we all could have Snoop Lion as our father.
