Karl Lagerfeld really knows how to get the crowd in the right mindset for his fashion shows.
For his Spring/Summer 2013 runway show, Karl enlisted the help of the Chromatics to set the mood for the evening. We weren’t previously very familiar with the band, however they managed to get their infectious “Looking for Love” song stuck in our heads with visuals that we couldn’t help but watch.
The video for “Looking For Love” serves more as a documentation of the Chanel runway show from beginning to end. It was shot on location at the Chanel Pret-A-Porter Printemps-Ete 2013 Runway show on October 2nd, 2012 at the Grand Palais in Paris, France. From the backstage shenanigans to the setup, to the models getting ready, walking and finishing, the video covers it all.
Shot in a very grainy, almost vintage filter, the video is something we could watch over and over! As for the track, it will be featured on the upcoming Italians Do It Better release “After Dark 2.” You can check out the visuals for “Looking For Love” by the Chromatics above.
