The Daily Grind Video

UPDATE: 4:35pm EST

Not again Weezy.

Lil Wayne had a second seizure in less than 24 hours as he was just released from a Louisiana hospital.

As reported by TMZ:

Weezy was on board a flight from Texas to LAX — when he began to convulse. We’re told the flight was immediately diverted to Louisiana … and Wayne was admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

We broke the story … Wayne had been hospitalized last night after a pilot reported that the rapper was experiencing seizures on board his flight.

Wayne was treated in Texas — his rep insisted Weezy was only suffering from dehydration and migraines … and was released hours later.

Just like Rick Ross last year, Weezy finds himself in the same situation. Please Weezy take care of yourself and get well.

UPDATE: 1:00pm EST

Below is an official statement from Lil Wayne’s management team pertaining to his recent hospitalization.

Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.

We’re glad to know that Wayne is doing way better than what we’ve been hearing. Get well Weezy!

It was a rocking flight for Lil Wayne, as his plane had to make an emergency landing in Texas after he suffered seizure-like symptoms on his private jet.

Lil Wayne & Sarah ViVan Celebrate Their Son’s 4th Birthday!

As reported by TMZ:

A source close to Weezy — real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. — tells us, right after the plane touched down … the rapper was transported to a local hospital to get treatment on Thursday afternoon.

We’re told Wayne was at the hospital for several hours … he checked out around 6 PM local time.

After being looked at and examined, doctors say Weezy is doing better.
