PHOTOS: Britney Spears’ Lucky Magazine Cover Is Causing Some Controversy! 

According to TheHollywoodReporter, pop superstar Britney Spears is close to signing a book deal with It Books, which is an imprint of HarperCollins, one of the more artist friendly publishing companies out there (HarperCollins is publishing the upcoming Whitney Houston biography.)

What’s most surprising is that the work would be fiction, largely based off Brit’s own experiences. The Hills star Lauren Conrad accomplished something similar when she published L.A. Candy in 2009, a story about a girl becoming a reality TV star.

We can’t wait to see what Brit does with her novel; we just know one thing, the folks at the Pulitzer better get ready.
