And as far as next year, Black Sabbath, Blur, Arctic Monkeys and Green Day have been among some of the acts rumored to be in the running for a headlining spot. But one artist for sure who’s been announced as a headliner for the events is none other than Eminem, which is pretty cool because he’s the first, and just so happens to deviate in genre from those rumored to be fellow headliners. This will be a welcome back for the Recovery rapper, who performed there back in 2001 following the release of The Marshall Mathers LP.

Along with this, comes news that the festivals will introduce more stages, including a hip-hop stage, and showcase further genres of music.

If you find yourself on the other side of the pond come summer, the Reading festival and Leeds festival will take place over the weekend of Aug. 23rd-25th.
