Jason Wu may have seen his rise to mainstream fame when the First Lady Michelle Obama donned his designs for the Inauguration Ball and for a multitude of events during her hubby’s presidency.

But that doesn’t mean that he’s afraid to walk a little on the dark side with his newest collection. Jason Wu’s 2013 Pre-Fall collection, Antonio’s Girls, has to be one of the best we have seen from the designer to date, and we are ready for young Hollywood to dominate the red carpet in some of these looks. 

According to Fashionista, Jason Wu channeled the work of the late illustrator/photographer/boy-about-town Antonio Lopez, whose portraits of style icons like Jerry Hall, Grace Jones and Pat Cleveland captured the hedonistic, glamorous vibe of New York’s elite in the 1970s and ’80s.
