Court records show that Starwood Management/Cristian Esquino Nunez, the owner of N345MC, the aircraft that killed Jenni Riveraand her associates, forfeited an aircraft to the DEA on April 18th of this year. There is reason to believe the forfeited aircraft and the downed Lear are the same aircraft.

Flight tracking shows that N345MC flew from Houston to Mexico City on August, 31 2012—after it was mysteriously re-registered to Starwood Management on June, 5 2012. From that date on it is unclear who had operational control of the aircraft or how it was repositioned from Mexico City to Monterrey, Mexico for Rivera’s flight.

DETAILS: Singing Sensation Jenni Rivera Dies In Plane Crash

What has become clear is that the Rivera flight was an illegal charter flight, and not a “demo” flight as Nunez states. In addition, Starwood Management shares “the same agent within the State [of Nevada] for receipt of mail” with Private Jet Charter Flights Las Vegas, a charter brokerage firm which issued the following statement through its Chief Executive Officer, Alex Reznik:

“Private Jet Charter Flights Las Vegas has absolutely no relationship to, or affiliation with, Starwood Management, LLC.

Although it is now our understanding that the addresses for these two distinct businesses correspond with one another, this is simply a reflection of the respective company’s determining to appoint the same agent within the State for receipt of mail.

For purposes of clarity and avoidance of doubt, Private Jet Charter Flights Las Vegas had no role in connection with the flight which resulted in seven tragic deaths including that of Jenni Rivera.

We have never once utilized the services of the specific aircraft tail in question or even the aircraft model involved in this tragedy throughout our entire history of operations.”

Unfortunately, this statement doesn’t address the issue of how a Lear 25, matching the description and recent photos of N345MC, was being marketed on their website, three days after the accident occurred.
