A man was shot and injured by another man during a Martin Luther King Jr. parade in Mississippi.
According to Fox News, a spokeswoman for the Jackson police said that the shooting occurred yesterday around noon and in the “general area of the parade but not directly on the parade route.”

The victim of the shooting was 23 years old and in stable condition at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
He was found with a wound in his chest, and his identity has not been released.

No other injuries have been reported, and no suspects have been taken into custody for questioning.
