DETAILS: $1 Million Reward? Couple Who Christopher Dorner Tied Up Come Forward 

Despite conspiracy theories that the former LAPD officer and Naval Reservist who allegedly killed four people escaped from a Big Bear cabin, medical examiners are saying that the burned remains positively belong to Dorner.

The announcement came two days after authorities retrieved human remains from the burned-out cabin in Big Bear, California, where Dorner was believed to have taken refuge while trying to allude police.

Dorner’s remains were identified through dental records during an autopsy, the department said.

The cause of his death, however, has not been released.
