It’s no secret that the President is crazy about his wife and doesn’t have a problem letting us know!

So when Valentine’s Day rolled around this year, we wondered what he could get the woman who probably has everything.

“I’ve already got a gift, got the flowers,” he told the crowd at Decatur, Ga. school he visited yesterday.

“I was telling folks, the flowers are a little easier, though, because I got this rose garden.  A lot of people, you know, keeping flowers around,” he joked.

President Obama only spent the early part of the day in Georgia, saying he had promised his wife “to get back in time for our date tonight.”

“That’s important!” he said.

According to the Washington Post, the lovers went to a swanky restaurant in the Penn Quarter area of Washington D.C.

The Obamas dined at MiniBar, a Jose Andres restaurant known as a tough place to get a reservation. The menu price is $225 per person, beverages not included, and the web site describes eating there as a “once-in-a-lifetime experience that pushes the limits of what’s possible with food.”
