Michael Jordan took over the NBA’s All Star Weekend in Houston when he went all out for his 50th Birthday Celebration in Texas.

The 6 time NBA champion shelled out $100,000 to throw his birthday party at the Museum of Fine Arts, in Houston and the 100k donation was well worth it, because everyone came out to support the greatest player to ever touch a basketball.

Former rivals like Anthony Mason and Charles Oakley laughed it up with Scottie Pippen and his wife Larsa Pippen. While the new Knicks, Iman Shumpert, Tyson Chandler, and even coach Mike Woodson sipped champagne together in the black tie event.

Also on hand was power couples Jay-Z & Beyonce and Carmelo Anthony & La La who looked absolutely lovely together.

Bey was spotted chilling on a couch as her man was close by while Carmelo and La danced and partied well into the night and even got into a dancing show down with Cedric the Entertainer.

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant were on hand, but didn’t seem to have any issues once Drake walked in the party. She was there with Kobe “partying in the party” what more can he say?

The highlight of the night was a great performance by R Kelly who was personally picked to perform by Michael Jordan himself. After Kelly’s performance the two icons met inside the Museum and MJ greeted the singer with a big hug telling R, “If you need anything just let me know and I’ll take care of it.”

Jordan is a good guy to have in your corner. Check out the pictures from MJ’s birthday party.
