Score one for AT&T/T-Mobile.

We’ve seen dozens of phones that act like computers before, many of them made by Nokia, but none like the Tmobile G2X made by LG.

The smartphone was originally released in Europe with built-in, original ringtones by legendary musician Ennio Morricone. Now it finally comes to America equipped with a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting and a dual core processor, the very first for a phone. Android 2.2, Froyo, is its shipped operating system, but Gingerbread, the next Android update, is expected to take over after its launch.

The GX2 also includes Swype for easy text input, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi with DLNA, Stereo Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm audio jack, Adobe Flash Player support and a music player. The DNLA aspect of the phone is exciting because the phone, when jail broken, can be used as a wireless hot spot, allowing owners to connect gaming systems and media players wirelessly.

We can’t wait for it to hit the market in June. After the break, check out some additional pictures.
