In California, Lindon High School sophomore Justine Betti was fed up with hearing about all the locker room robberies that have been going on in her school for the past year.

She decided to do something about it by hiding in one of the gym lockers to catch the thief in the act. To her surprise, the thief was not a student, but one of the school teachers!

Betti soon told her friends about it, but nobody believed her, so she chose to hide in a locker once again and catch the criminal with a cell phone camera.

She was able to record the teacher rummaging through bags and stealing money from students.

“I didn’t want to believe that she would do something like that because she was so nice, but then she did it,” Betti said. “It was really scary. I was like ‘Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I just got this on video.'”

After watching the incriminating evidence a few times, Betti took the video to the school principle who, surprisingly, told her to delete it.

But it was too late! Betti had already sent the video to her father and a few of her friends, who then shared it with more and more people.

The suspect has not been officially identified, but students are describing her as a great teacher. The teacher’s sister spoke out about the incident.

“She would never steal,” the sister said. “She doesn’t need the money.”

The teacher in question has been placed on administrative leave as the investigation continues.

Do you think Betti did the right thing by reporting her teacher?
