Meet Lantana. The undeniably talented new rapper hailing from College Hill, Cincinnati has been heating up the local scene with his tight lyricism and catchy hooks. Joining the likes of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and more recently Machine Gun Kelly, Lantana represents the state of Ohio, but says he’s bringing a whole new flavor with his Cincinnati-style.

“Some Cleveland people might call me country,” the 25-year-old tells GlobalGrind’s Sharon Carpenter in an exclusive sit-down interview.

Watch as Lantana reveals all about the five most important things the world needs to know about him and his music, including the meaning behind his motto and single “All Hustle No Luck,” how a stint in jail changed his mindset forever, and why he fully believes he’s the “best hope” for his hood. Lantana also discusses how he recently inked a management deal with non-other than Jimmy Rosemond’s (also known as Jimmy Henchman’s) son, James Rosemond Jr. – the 20-year-old CEO of RoyalDream Music Group. If James is anything like his pops, Lantana is destined to make it big in the mainstream.
