Actress and former teen porn star, Traci Lords, has revealed to Piers Morgan that she was raped in Steubenville, Ohio.
Lords was only ten years old when the assault took place, and she is now speaking out as a result of the recent rape case that has caused her hometown to be in the spotlight of national attention.

“I was born in Steubenville, Ohio and I was raped in there. So was my mother. I think there’s a sickness in that city,” said Lords on Thursday.
Lords admits that she was initially hesitant to respond to tweets from fans asking her to speak out about the rape case. She said:
“People come after you and the last thing I wanted was the, “Look at this slut talking about that slut thing.” But I just couldn’t stay silent.”
Lords claims that watching the trial of Trent Mays, 16, and Ma’lik Richmond, 17, who allegedly raped an intoxicated 16-year old, has brought the vivid memory of the raping that she had to endure back to her. Her attacker was only 14-years old.

She was also raped by her mother’s boyfriend, Roger, at the age of 15. He prompted her career as a porn star and by the age of 18, Lords had starred in over 100 porn films.
After her 18th birthday, the FBI busted Lords for acting in porn films as a minor.
She was never formally charged with a crime and has since reinvented herself as a singer and actress.
She describes Steubenville as a place that does not teach its young men to respect young women.
