Police have arrested a 21-year-old suspect in connection with a brutal NYC subway attack last month. 

According to Gothamist:

The NYPD tells us charges are currently being drawn up against the suspect, whose identity hasn’t been revealed yet.

The above video has been released that shows a brutal mugging of a 56-year-old woman that occured at the 18th Avenue F train station on March 9th.

The woman attempted to get away after being approached by a man wearing a hooded fraternity sweatshirt, but the man quickly flung her to the floor and kicking her while rummaging through her bag.

Afterward, the woman grabbed her empty bag and made a run for it. The video shows her attacker was running closely behind her as she made the attempt to get away.

Reports show that the woman was able to escape with only a few minor injuries. Her attacker weighed about 150 lbs. and was in his 20s. He was wearing an “Alpha Phi Delta” hoodie that said “Stugots” with the number 27 on the back.

According to the New York Post police have a person of interest in custody for questioning but are not releasing his name at this time and are not identifying him as a suspect.
