Rick Ross is finally feeling the monetary repercussions of his controversial “rape” lyrics.

While rapping as a featured artist on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O,” Ross rapped, “Put molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it/ I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it.”

Since then, women’s groups and anti-rape activists have spoken out about the lyrics and called for Reebok to drop the Miami rapper as a spokesperson.

Reebok eventually caved and dropped Ricky Rozay. As you can expect, the Bawse is not too happy about it.

TMZ is reporting that Rick Ross is bitter because he believes that the company owes him a second chance. He is telling people he was entitled to corporate forgiveness because he did so much for the brand … bringing classic Reeboks back in style in the hip-hop community.

We would be upset too if we would potentially be losing between $3.5 million and $5 million. Rick was allegedly getting a check each time he wore the shoes. In a statement about the incident, a Reebok spokesperson said:

“We are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.”

Reebok seems unmoved by Ricky’s contribution to their company, as well as the public apology that he released late last week. We guess the heat from the protesters was just a little too hot for the athletic brand to handle and Ricky’s remorse was just too little, too late.
