Even though we’ve known for quite some time now, it still didn’t feel real.
Unfortunately, Miranda Kerr put any doubts to rest, stating that she will in fact be parting ways with Victoria’s Secret and it was her decision.
In an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald, Miranda says that her upcoming 30th birthday had her ready for a change of pace.
“The thing is, I’ve been modeling since I was 13, I’m now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time.”

And those new priorities include managing her Kora Organics beauty line and other upcoming projects.
“I’ve reached a point in my career where I’m developing my own opportunities that are really reflective of my passions.”
Miranda adds that she is too busy to make major commitments — like Victoria’s Secret contracts.
“I’m just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time. It’s three months at a bare minimum.”

This might be the end of an era. Have no worries though, it won’t be long before Miranda is back on the runway or in some magazine leaving nothing to the imagination.
Until then, farewell Miranda, it’s been a good run.
