Coachella was absolutely awesome!

EXCLUSIVE BLOG: My First Time: Coachella, Weekend 2- Day 1

If you enjoy extreme sporting, than you’ll love Coachella.

I know, most you are wondering how I can compare Coachella Music Festival to extreme sports, but until you go for yourself, just take my word for it.

When you’re not battling the brutal desert heat or shivering during the brisk desert nights, you’ll probably be gasping for fresh air while walking the two-mile hike from the very far camping grounds or parking lot.

Oh, and let’s not forget about the desert sandstorms.

Now, Coachella was definitely a great time, but the whole time I was there, I kept wondering to myself “why didn’t anyone tell me that Coachella isn’t for the faint of heart?”

Well, I’m here to keep it real with you.

There are some things you MUST know before heading out to Indio, California for next year’s festival.

Find out the 411 before heading out to next year’s Coachella below!

It’s so brutally hot during the day that an umbrella and a bathing suit should be your every day attire, BUT…

It’s so cold at night that you need to bundle up in a sleeping bag.

The air quality is so bad that you need one of these….

Yes, a SARS mask should be in your Coachella survival kit….

…Or a cool green bandana will suffice. You should also bring…

An inhaler (if you’re an asthmatic). And some…

…Claritin D if you have allergies.

There’s also the possibility that a sandstorm could happen at any given moment.

You’ll also be willing to miss an awesome James Blake performance to get hosed down with some FREE water at the Do Lab.

All the trendy people go to Coachella on Weekend 1.

And so do the celebrities.

Oh, and all the cool surprise performances happen during Weekend 1 too.

Surprisingly, the porta-potties aren’t THAT bad.

You can’t get drunk during the day, because it’s too hot and you end up like….

No one at Coachella is a fan of any specific music artist, they’re just….there.

Sneakers are a must! No sandals, no flip-flops, no heels, just wear sneakers.
