It’s been over two weeks since Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev allegedly detonated two pressure cooker bombs at the Boston Marathon; an act of terror that killed three and injured more than 200.
Since April 15, authorities have shut down and reopened the city of Boston, engaged in a shootout with the Tsarnaev brothers, captured the youngest of the two and charged him with using a weapon of mass destruction. He is now being held in a small cell in a federal medical detention center.
Other details about Dzhokar, also known as Jahar, and his brother’s religious beliefs have come to light; details that will no doubt aid in building the case against the alleged bombers. Russian authorities have also confirmed that they intercepted a 2011 conversation between Tamerlan and his mother concerning Jihad.
Just yesterday, DNA belonging to a woman was found on one of the two bombs used in the attacks, however, it was not immediately clear who the woman was.

1. YouTube Clip Emerges Showing A Rather Normal Dzhokhar Talking With His Niece
What would had been an otherwise normal and endearing video of uncle and niece is now a chilling revelation that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was living two different lives; possibly a Jihad radicalist, and a normal college student.
The home video shows Dzhokhar with his niece, daughter of Katherine Russell and his deceased brother, Tamerlan. The surviving brother is now being held in a medical prison facility, recovering from wounds sustained during the shootout in Watertown two weeks ago.
2. Police Obtain Katherine Russell’s DNA
After police discovered DNA on one of the bombs used in the Boston Marathon attacks, they obtained a sample of Katherine Russell’s DNA in Rhode Island, where she has been staying with her parents. They plan on comparing her fingerprints and DNA to those found on the bomb. She has not been labeled a suspect as of yet.
The authorities are looking at a range of possibilities, including that she could have — wittingly or unwittingly — destroyed evidence, helped the bombers evade capture, or even played a role in planning the attacks.
3. Prominent Death Penalty Lawyer Judy Clarke Appointed For Dzhokhar
The defense team representing Dzhokhar has just added Judy Clark, a San Diego lawyer who has managed to get life sentences instead of the death penalty for several high-profile clients, including the Unabomber and the gunman in the rampage that injured former Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
