When you’re a busy woman like Kelly, sometimes you have to make executive decisions.

It’s only been a few days since it was announced that Kelly Rowland will be joining the judges table for the U.S. version of X-Factor, and now she’s already switching around her schedule.

Kelly and The-Dream were scheduled to kick off their “Lights Out” tour today in Minneapolis, but due to her now hectic X-Factor schedule, Kelly has to bow out of the tour early.

Kelly wrote a letter to her fans on Instagram that reads:

The good news is Kelly will be performing on the tour for the first five stops. She’s also set to make an appearance at the Riverfest in Arkansas and Caribbean Fashion Week in Jamaica.

The-Dream, who hosted his listening party in New York City last night, also wrote a letter to his fans, stating:

“First, I want to wish my friend Kelly congratulations on her new gig at ‘X Factor,’ Unfortunately, we have to change some tour dates which has been extremely hard for me and for Kelly. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at a later date. But in support of IV Play, I will find the time to come to some of the cities left out to the best of my ability, if only to be in front of the fans that support us. So request this with your local radio stations and I’ll be there. I’m amped and ready!”

The-Dream’s forthcoming album, IV Play, hits store shelves next Tuesday, May 28.

Kelly Rowland’s fourth studio album, Talk A Good Game, will go head-to-head with Kanye’s Yeezus and J.Cole’s Born Sinner albums on June 18.
