Chuck D of Public Enemy said it best; “Fight the powers that be” and that seems to be what people are doing.  SeizeBP.org began their ‘Week of Action” this week to organize, protest and take their fight to BP oil.

Protesters on the streets of Washington D.C. and New York went all out in their efforts to let BP and all their investors know that they are mad and the time has come to stop the spilling of crude oil in the Gulf Coast. Protests were held in front of the JP Morgan Chase headquarters in New York and the BP Amoco Government Affairs Office in DC.

People are angry and they need their voices to be heard, no doubt they’ve seen the countless failed attempts by BP to stop the spill, not to mention the pictures of the Gulf Coast Wildlife drenched in oil, they have a right to be angry, they have a right to have their voices be heard and they need to show BP that people will keeping fighting not only for the spilling to end but to end offshore drilling all together. Take a look at protesters taking it to BP oil.
