This is my new workout for you to try at home, in the gym after your weight training, or even at the office. It’s called the “Karim K’ard Game.” This cardio/endurance workout is designed to burn fat and still keep your quality muscle. 

Basically, just get a deck of cards and a notepad or cardboard to create your own workout based on your personal goals! I chose a full body cardiovascular, endurance workout. (Some may want to switch it up depending on your athletic abilities).

The Breakdown: 

Spades: Push Ups 

Hearts: Burpees 

Diamonds: Squats 

Clubs: Mountain Climbers 

Face Cards: you must do a rep of 10

Aces: you must do a rep of 11

4 “Break cards:” (1-2 min breaks) 

Keep in mind that you can do this with a workout partner or even with your children as a good workout. This is a timing workout. Every time you do this workout your goal is to try and beat your last workout time to complete the card.

Start off with half a card deck and gradually move up more and more. Get your water, make sure you take breaks when needed, and GET READY TO SWEAT!!
