Let’s get ready to rock and roll!

LIST: 2012 Grammy Nominations Are In!

It’s that time of year again, when our favorite rock bands and rockers get inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Guns N’ Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, hip-hop’s Beastie Boys, Laura Nyro, and Freddie King have all snagged the honor, just to name a few. This year there were a total of 11 inductees.

From platinum selling rock bands to early rock pioneers, Rock And Roll Hall of Fame didn’t miss a beat.

Laura Nyro was the only woman to make it into this year’s hall of fame. The board passed on Donna Summer, Rufus and Chaka Khan, and Joan Jett, who were all on this year’s ballot.

Although the Beastie Boys represent for the hip-hop lovers, there were other hip-hop pioneers who didn’t make the cut either. Eric B. & Rakim, War, and the Cure And The Spinners were also in the running, but didn’t make the final cut.

This year’s Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony will commence on April 14 in Cleveland where the Rock Hall is based.

Take a look at the list of inductees on the next few pages!
