Katy Perry’s back!
The “Fireworks” singer is finally returning to music after taking a little break to focus on love and other things. Earlier this week, Katy released a cute teaser for her forthcoming new single “Roar,” which featured an adorable little kitty cat.
The single artwork actually reminds us of a mix between bad ’80s fashion and a Lisa Frank trapper keeper (just saying), but we know Katy likes to dibble and dabble in eclectic fashion, so she gets a pass.
“Roar” is set to be released on Monday, August 12, while the UK release date isn’t until September 3. “Roar” is off Katy’s forthcoming album, Prism, which is due out later on this year.
