The Inc. is back!

OK, that might not entirely be true, but, hell, they’re trying.

The last couple of days have been the biggest two days for the Inc. in years. Ja Rule, the company’s star, released “Fresh Outta the Pen.” Then, yesterday, he appeared on The Angie Martinez Show, alongside longtime friend Irv Gotti.

While there, the two had a pretty in-depth interview that talked about the good times (that early 2000s run) and the bad times (prison).

There’s one man that Ja Rule is always going to be associated with: his name is 50 Cent. The two infamously beefed throughout most of the 2000s. And Angie wasn’t afraid to ask about their tension.

Ja had some interesting things to say: He admitted that he took the L in the beef (duuuuh) but he also says that he’s moved on, and he has no ill will towards the rapper. That doesn’t mean, however, that they will ever be buddy buddy.

(He also says that this will be the last time he’ll talk about 50. We’ll see.)

The interview is def worth a listen: Ja also touches on finding an even bigger appreciation for God while in prison, his first reaction to hearing “In Da Club” and his relationship with Ashanti.
