The fashion world’s obsession with Kanye West is the enigma of all enigmas. Do they love him? Do they hate him? Or are they just obsessed with what he will think up next?
Ever since his Dw line’s ill-received shows during past Paris Fashion Weeks, never a season passes without a rumor from the fashion realm that he’ll make a surprise return in some form. And although this Paris Fashion Week is already in full swing, whispers have surfaced once again that ‘Ye is hitting the runway.
According to Vogue, the rapper will be enlisting the help of former Balmain designer Christophe Decarnin:
KANYE WEST is reportedly set to return to the Paris catwalk with a new eponymous collection, having enlisted former Balmain designer Christophe Decarnin as his head designer.
Decarnin was replaced at Balmain in April 2011 by current creative director Olivier Rousteing following a period of ill health which saw him miss his final show, for autumn/winter 2011-12, under doctor’s orders.
We shall wait and see if ‘Ye makes an appearance, but as of this morning, Kanye was still in his California home yelling at the papz. He’s apparently on his way to Paris, though.
