Breaking Bad came to an end last night in the most breathtaking of ways. With a big bang.!

When it was said the show would go out in true breaking bad fashion, it surely did. The show had over 250 deaths (that’s including the plane crash) so last night definitely didn’t disappoint. The series went out on top with well over 6 million viewers. Millions more DVR’d it, and millions more than that found a website to stream it from…or you can just watch it right here.

Last night Breaking Bad made me realize two things. One: It’s without a doubt the best show to ever come on television, and two: It surely changed the game. People watch television differently because of it, and I am the perfect example. From 2008 to 2012 I never paid attention to Breaking Bad.

I knew it won all these awards, I knew it starred the dad from Malcolm In The Middle and I knew it had something to do with meth. That’s about it. But after the 20th person told me to watch the show, and I then saw them run from Philly to the Lower East Side in New York to watch the season finale, I realized I must watch the show.

So I binge watched all 5 seasons in a little over a month. Thanks to Netflix, On Demand and the Apple ITunes Store I was able to catch all the way up.

We no longer need to watch a show every week at 9PM. TV show creators are getting more creative. They know people aren’t always in one place anymore. So if you’re one of those people who are like, “yeah I never got into Breaking Bad,” it’s not too late to start.

Get Netflix and catch up. It will only cost you 7.99 and you’ll get over 60 hours of Walter White’s life. That alone will be worth it. When you add in House of Cards, Orange Is The New Black, Lost, and all the other shows you might have missed – with no commercials!!!

You’ll be in TV heaven with Walter White and Breaking Bad!

Thanks for all the memories, Breaking Bad! Now go catch up or watch it again!
