Artist/producer Maejor Ali, formerly known as Bei Maejor, has undergone a musical transformation over the past year.
After his breakout single “Trouble” featuring J. Cole found itself on the music charts, Maejor Ali found himself in a precarious battle with his label. Fortunately for Maejor Ali, the Detroit native got out of his recording contract unscathed, and found a new home at Island Def Jam.
Maejor Ali sat down with GlobalGrind to discuss his label woes, his smash single “Lolly” featuring Justin Bieber and Juicy J, and his friendship with Justin Bieber.
